Student Working Papers

Students ages 14–17 must have working papers (employment certificates) before starting a job. You must live in Springfield Township School District to get working papers from this district.

How to Get Working Papers

Once you have a job offer, follow these steps:

  • Get the Application
    • Pick up an Application for Work Permit from:
      Springfield Township High School
      1801 Paper Mill Road
      Erdenheim, PA 19038
    • Or download the application
  • Make an Appointment
  • Bring Required Documents
    You must bring:
    • Completed application
    • Proof of age (one of the following):
      • Birth certificate
      • Passport
      • Other official proof of age

Important:

  • The application cannot be processed without proper documents
  • The student must be present to sign the application

Reminder:

You must live in Springfield Township to schedule an appointment
Appointments will be canceled if you do not live in the district
