Dr. Meghan Dennis
Director of Student Services
Prior to joining us in Springfield Township, Dr. Dennis worked in the Downingtown Area School District for 18 years. During her tenure she worked as a 4th grade Classroom Teacher, K-5 Elementary School Counselor, Elementary Supervisor of Special Education, and most recently as the Director of Pupil Services. Meg completed her undergraduate degree at Immaculata University, her Masters in Elementary School Counseling at West Chester University, her certification in Educational Leadership at Penn State, and recently finished up her doctoral program from Drexel University.
Dr. Dennis’ strong background as a classroom teacher, counselor and administrator serve to provide a depth of experience and expertise as she transitions to our district. The interview committee found her to be a thoughtful and collaborative leader who will complement our district team well as we move into the future. Dr. Dennis describes her strengths as someone who utilizes a strong collaborative framework and works to build meaningful relationships with students, staff, families and the community to ensure student success.
