Ms. Erin Bloom

My name is Erin Bloom, and I am the Middle School Librarian. In the past, I have taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade ELA at Springfield. Before starting at Springfield, I taught in Philadelphia for six years. In 2008, I graduated from Temple University (Go Owls!) with BA degrees in English and History and a certificate in Creative Writing. After graduation, I began teaching through a program called the Philadelphia Teaching Fellows and received my Masters in Secondary Education. Additionally, I have attended the Philadelphia Teacher's Institute at the University of Pennsylvania for five years.

I love the students, staff, and parents in Springfield, and look forward to another great year!
