Music Programs

A group of middle school students wearing matching “STMS Music” shirts stand together outdoors, smiling and holding a trophy. They pose closely with arms around one another in front of a school building entrance, celebrating a music-related achievement on a sunny day.

Our STMS Music Program is a point of pride for the School District of Springfield Township.  Students at the middle school level can participate in a variety of ensembles, and every student is scheduled for General Music classes in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades.  Our district has received national recognition as one of the Best Communities for Music Education by the National Association of Music Merchants every year since 2014, and we are continuously making strides to improve and advance the study of music in our community.

You can email our STMS Music teachers at the links below.  Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns, and feel free to explore our course offerings using the links to the left.

Four adults stand together outdoors holding trophies and smiling for a photo. They are casually dressed and appear to be celebrating an achievement at a school or community event. A parking lot, trees, and parked cars are visible in the background under a sunny sky.
