Mr. Ian Hammond

Hello families of Springfield Township! My name is Ian Hammond, I grew up in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. I attended Drexel University where I earned my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Secondary and Special Education. Over the course of my teaching career I have only taught at the middle school level and find a ton of enjoyment and fulfillment in working with this age group. Here at the middle school I will be a learning support teacher as well as the wrestling coach. Wrestling is something I have a deep passion for and I feel that it provides an opportunity to build positive relationships with students outside of the classroom.
