Dr. Greg Brasco
Psychologist
Greg earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2001 and has spent the past 25 years as a dedicated school psychologist. He’s known not just for his expertise, but for his warmth, his coffee, and his uncanny ability to connect with students and staff alike.
Before entering education, Greg’s path was anything but typical. He filleted fish at Smitty’s in the NYC fish market, engineered audio at A&J Recording Studios, and worked on projects ranging from The Civil War with Ken Burns and Coney Island with Ric Burns to a myriad of voiceovers with B-list actors—though he insists the fish had more personality.
Greg is passionate about building real relationships through curiosity, kindness, and humor. He’s the middle school’s very first “triviologist,” and has teamed up with students and staff to make videos, support science projects, and cheer on athletes, actors, and musicians. He’s also married to a fellow school psychologist—proving that psychology is, in fact, a family business.
