Mrs. Amy Benton

Mrs. Benton has been teaching general and choral music in SDST since 2014. Before coming to Springfield, she taught elementary and middle school music in Philadelphia for five years. She holds an undergraduate degree in Music Education from the University of Delaware, and a masters degree in Music Education from Temple University. Additionally, she is a professional choral singer in the Philadelphia area. Mrs. Benton loves being able to share her passion for singing, and music in general, with her middle school students each and every day. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with family, specifically her husband (who teaches band at Erdenheim), and two daughters.
