Chris was a Track and Field and Football athlete at Springfield, Class of 2015. As a 4-Year Varsity football player, Chris was a part of the undefeated 2011 district championship season and led the Spartans as the Quarterback to a district title in 2014. In Track and Field he won 12 individual titles at the District 1 Championship Meet, winning every event he competed in, throughout his 4 years, in the Long Jump High Jump Pole Vault and Javelin, as well as winning a Team District Championship in 2015. He went on to win 5 individual State Championships, and 5 State Runner-Ups, as well as winning back to back Men’s Team State Championships in 2014 and 2015. He also finished as the top American High Jumper at the 2014 Penn Relays Carnival, he broke the Suburban One Championship High Jump Record at 6’9.25” and the District 1 Pole Vault record at 15' 09” . During his time at Springfield, he broke 9 total school records between indoor and outdoor track and field.

Chris went on to compete in the Decathlon at Auburn University where he broke the Freshman Decathlon Record and became a 3 year Team Captain. His top finish was 3rd at the SouthEastern Conference Championships earning him 2nd Team All-Conference honors.
