Angela Campbell

Class of 1990, Education - Administrator

Dr. Angela N. Campbell has spent over 20 years as an impactful educator and executive leader in higher education, academic consultant, keynote, and life coach. She was honored in the May 2024 City & State publication as one of the “Higher Education Trailblazers” in Pennsylvania. She is the founder and CEO of Presence Power for Success, LLC. Her company provides Presence Power mental fitness training, executive coaching and empowerment consultation for teams in higher education. She has created a revolutionary Belonging paradigm that transcends DEI and empower leaders and teams with humanizing knowledge, skills and strategies to create impactful, equitable and inclusive institutional cultures of excellence.

Dr. Campbell teaches and models the Presence Power principles that help organizations sustain human dignity and fair systems for everyone. As a keynote, she inspires her audience to be the best version of themselves by living on purpose from the inside - out with genuine joy, integrity, and compassion.

As an Executive Consultant, Dr. Campbell leads strategic efforts to launch a Center for Urban Education at Temple University that oversees ten existing federal, state, and non-profit grant funded co-educational programming for Philadelphia community members across the lifespan. Prior to this, she served as the inaugural Vice President of Mission, DEI, and Belonging, Chief Mission Officer, and Associate Professor of Education at Cabrini University. She provided mission integration and equity solutions across the institution. She also co-founded and co-directed the Center for Urban Education, Equity and Improvement at Cabrini.

Dr. Campbell earned her Ph.D. in Urban Education from Temple University. She earned an M.A. in Speech Communication from the University of Maryland College Park, and a B.A. in Human Communication and Sociology minor from La Salle University. She completed her Executive Leadership education at Carnegie Mellon University. Her areas of expertise include culturally responsive and sustaining educational practices, charter schools, and co-curricular programs, such as rites of passage programs for girls and young women. She is also a proud graduate of Springfield Township High School in Montgomery County, PA.
