Counseling
Each class is divided alphabetically into 3 groups, with each group assigned to a counselor. Counselors work directly with that group of students from the beginning of their freshman year through graduation. Our goal is to provide every student with comprehensive guidance and counseling that reflects their individual needs while supporting students to achieve their academic and personal goals. Throughout the year, counselors meet with students individually, in small groups and in the classroom to help with:
- Academic advising including course selection, scheduling, and academic support
- Social and emotional counseling including peer relationships, stress management, conflict resolution and crisis intervention
- Career exploration
- Post-secondary planning and the college application process
