Mrs. Julia Gatto

I am Julia Gatto, and I am a Health and Physical Education Teacher at Springfield Township High School. I grew up in Upper Moreland, Pa and graduated from West Chester University in 2020 with a Bachelors of Science in Health and Physical Education. I am currently working towards a Masters of Science in Lifelong Wellness and Innovative Leadership with an emphasis in School Wellness Education.

I started my career as a long term substitute in Lower Moreland, PA, for one school year. At Lower Moreland I was the girls basketball assistant coach at the high school and the JV head coach. I continued my career in the Central Bucks School District, where I spent four years. In CB, I coached a variety of sports and served as a club advisor for many groups. I coached 8th grade girls basketball, 7th grade boys soccer, and Unified Sports, both Bocce and Track and Field at the high school level. I then began teaching in Springfield in the fall of 2025, where I am so excited to be. I look forward to potentially coaching and advising more clubs here. 

I currently reside in Conshohocken, PA, where I love to walk, stay active, read, and spend time with loved ones.
