Miss Rachel Holmes

I was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware, but I spent plenty of time in Pennsylvania where my mother’s family is from. I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in elementary education prek-4th grade and special education prek-8th grade from Immaculata University in 2020. Since graduating, I have extended my certification to include both 5th and 6th grade. While in school, I student taught in the Garnet Valley School District in a 4th grade classroom. During the 20/21 school year I was a long term substitute 4th and 5th grade learning support teacher in the same district. 

I was hired by the School District of Springfield Township in the summer of 2021. I teach 5th grade at Erdenheim Elementary School. Outside of school you will find me baking, cheering for my favorite sports team the Phillies, babysitting one of my many nieces and nephews, reading a new book, or singing along to my favorite music.
