Lauren Davis has been an educator in Pennsylvania in a variety of settings for over 15 years. She has spent time as a learning support teacher, school counselor for an approved private school, home based behavior specialist, and family therapist prior to arriving at Springfield in 2006 as an emotional support teacher. Mrs. Davis became the Assistant Principal of Springfield Township Middle School in 2010 and Principal in 2012. In 2017, Mrs. Davis began serving as the Supervisor of Student Services.
Mrs. Davis is in the process of completing her Doctoral degree from Temple University after earning a Principal Certificate from The University of Pennsylvania in 2010, a Master's degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology in 2005, a Master’s degree in Education in 2003, and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education in 2001 all from La Salle University. In addition, she has served as an adjunct faculty member at La Salle University, Cabrini University and Neumann University in the past. Mrs. Davis holds several Pennsylvania Department of Education Certificates including Superintendent Letter of Eligibility, Educational Leadership and Administration K-12, Elementary Education K-12, and Special Education Mentally and Physically Handicapped K-12.
As the Supervisor of Student Services, Mrs. Davis works across the district on matters pertaining to student services, assessments, interventions, and gifted education.
