I live in Oreland with my family. Currently, my son attends SDST schools. I have been interested in using technology for educating people since I started working. I have held many diverse positions including National Park Service Ranger, chemist, certified industrial hygienist, safety and health consultant, risk management analyst, and volunteer. Each of these jobs required me to educate people about something. Working with teachers and students as a certified instructional technologist is just the newest way I am using my skills. I help teachers integrate digital technologies into their teaching practice to engage students using 21st century tools.
In my free time I enjoy reading all kinds and levels of books, knitting, playing the piano, and taking trips with my family. I also like to cook and like to talk about new recipes and ingredients.
