Spring Senior Athlete Profiles
Jersey Number: 24
Jackson has been playing baseball since he was four years old. Jackson plans on attending Cairn University to continue his academic and athletic career. Jackson would like to thank his coaches for always believing in him in big situations like the District Championship game among other games. Coach Primavera and Coach Bond will always be his favorite coaches. Not only did they teach him more about the game, they pushed him and challenged him each and every day at practice. Jackson would also like to thank his teammates for helping him and pushing him harder. Lastly Jackson would like to thank his family. His parents have supported him like no other. They have always helped him and pushed him to be the best. Thank you to everyone who showed Jackson love and support throughout this journey.

Ethan Hamilton has been the an ace on the Spartan mound for two years and will be taking his talents to Dickinson College next year where he will play baseball and study international business management. Ethan helped the team win a District 1 Championship in 2019 and had the prestigious honor of playing for the Carpenter Cup. Ethan would like to thank his parents, his coaches, and his fellow teammates for supporting him over the past four years!

Ethan has been playing baseball for twelve years. Ethan is looking forward to going to college next year, hopeful to to find a great job, and start a family! Ethan would like to thank every single coach, parent, mentor, and teacher that has helped him along the way during his many years of playing baseball. They have taught him lessons both on and off the field, he has learned new meanings to respect, dignity, and honesty. Ethan would also like to thank his parents, who have been very supportive of him since he started! Finally, Ethan would like to thank his teammates. He appreciates all of the ups and downs over the years and considers his teammates his best friends.

Brennan will be studying secondary education while playing lacrosse for the Moravian Greyhounds next year. Brennan was a captain of the Spartan Lacrosse team and has been a leader in many sports. Brennan has accumulated seven Varsity Letters while at Springfield all while maintaining his honor roll status. Brennan is the life of Springfield, if he's not on the football field or the lacrosse field, he's in the stands cheering on our Spartans. Brennan would like to thank his parents for supporting his journey and also his coaches, especially coach Resch and Coach Krewson for helping him all four years at Springfield.

Nic has been playing lacrosse for ten years, and is looking forward to going to the University of Pittsburgh to study Architecture and play club lacrosse next year. Nic would like to thank Coach Resch, Coach Krewson, and Coach DiPuppo and all of his other former coaches. Nic would also like to thank his mom and especially his dad, who introduced him to the sport and has coached and supported him throughout his entire career.

Paul will be studying Biology while attending the nationally renowned Amherst College where he will continue his lacrosse career. Paul has received multiple honors while at Springfield, including being named to the 2019 All-American Philadelphia Team. Paul has also received first Team All Conference, and All-State Honors. Paul scored 135 goals for the Spartans over his first three seasons and was on a force to be reckoned with all over the field. Paul would like to thank his family for supporting him and all of the coaches who have contributed to his lacrosse growth.

Irene has been playing lacrosse for eight years and is planning on attending Temple University next year. Irene would like to thank her mom, dad, sister Kaitlyn, and brother Kevin. She would also like to thank everyone on the lacrosse team in her four years at the high school especially Coach Canavan and Coach Hansen.

Charlotte has been playing lacrosse for ten years and plans on attending Penn State University to continue her academic career. Charlotte will be majoring in Engineering while at Happy Valley. Charlotte would like to thank her parents for always supporting her and her coaches and teachers who have helped her throughout high school!

Jessica has been playing softball for ten years and plans on attending Auburn University to study biology with a concentration in Pre-Medicine. Jessica would like to thank her parents and Coach Nina for always being her number one supporters!

Elyssa has been playing softball for ten years and plans on studying biomedical engineering at Penn State University next year. Elyssa would like to thank Coach Nina, Coach Gil and her parents for supporting her softball journey throughout the years. Elyssa's favorite Spartan Softball memory is winning the District 1 championship her sophomore year while playing with all of her best friends!

Sydney has been playing softball for 12 years and is planning on attending West Virginia University to major in either Physical Therapy or Athletic Training. Sydney would like to thank her Mom and Dad for supporting her softball decisions and Coach Jeannine for growing up with her in her softball journey. Sydney would not be where she is today with their guidance!
Ashanti has been running track for six years and plans on attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to study Psychology next year. Ashanti can recall almost every meet, and she has learned so much by simply watching and running each event. Ashanti would like to thank her coaches, Coach Mazurek, Coach Woods, Coach Arner, and Coach Freeman for all of the great seasons she has had on the Track team.
Ivy has been running track for six years and plans on attending Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Ivy will be going in undecided, but has a budding interest in Pre-Medicine. Ivy’s favorite Spartan memory was the 2017 Perkiomen Valley Viking Invitational and the time they spent in the tent! Ivy would like to thank both her indoor and outdoor track coaches, especially Coach Mazurek, Coach Woods, Coach Hasty, Coach Arner, and Coach Freeman. She also wants to shout out all of the athletes on the track team who consistently put in hard work at practices!
Elena has been playing soccer ever since she was little, and will be attending McDaniel College to continue her athletic career. While at McDaniel, Elena will be studying Political Science. Elena received All-League Honors the last two years, all while being a member of the National Honor Society and maintaining honor roll status. Elena would like to thank her parents and coaches who have helped her with all the adversity that she has faced throughout the past four years. She would also like to thank her teammates and friends for being great support systems.
Leajah has been running track for twelve years and plans on attending college next year. She will miss all of the track meets with her best friend Kim. Leajah would like to thank everyone that doubted her. They gave Leajah the fuel she needed to become successful.
Kennis has been with our Unified Track team since it’s inception back in 2018. Since then Kennis joined our Unified Bocce Team. Kennis will never forget her first event at her first Unified Track Meet! Kennis would like to thank all of the Unified Sport coaches for making her feel at home every single day.
This is Tam’s first year with the Unified Track program and she was really looking forward to developing some great friendships this season. Tam will be attending Gwynedd Mercy University next year to major in Nursing. Tam would like to thank Coach Proto, Coach Schrage, and her parents for their constant love and support during her four years at Springfield.
This is Emma’s first year with the Unified Track program but she had been involved with Indoor Track for three years, and Spring Track for two years. Emma will be attending Kutztown University to major in Education with a minor in Special Education. Emma would like to thank Coach Mazurek, Coach Freeman, Coach Hasty and Coach Woods. Coach Woods was Emma’s biggest motivator over the past two seasons. Emma would also like to thank Coach Proto and Coach Schrage for accepting Emma into their program!
