I was born and raised in York County, Pennsylvania, but I moved to the Philadelphia area in my mid-twenties and have lived here ever since. My husband Mark and I have two adult sons, one of whom lives in Berlin, Germany, at least for now. I started teaching at Springfield in 1988, and have been teaching full-time in the high school since 1995. I also serve as the faculty advisor for the Youth & Government Club and for the National Honor Society. I am passionate about teaching and believe that it is one of the most important professions there is, which is why I left my law practice in the mid-eighties to come here. I especially love teaching American History and American Government.
