Spartans, we are saddened that we will not get to experience the spring season with all of you this year. We know how much work you and your coaches have put into preparing for this year, and we feel absolutely terrible that you are losing that opportunity to showcase all of your hard work. That work does not go unnoticed, and we hope that you continue to work hard in everything you do moving forward! Seniors, thank you for your commitment to Springfield Athletics over the last four years, we appreciate everything you have given to our programs and our community. Later this spring, the athletic department will send information regarding some events recognizing our Senior athletes!
Best, The Admin Team
Uniform Drop Off
The Athletic Department will be collecting uniforms on April 28th from 3:30pm to 5:00pm. We will be strictly adhering to the CDC guidelines for social distancing and we expect this to be a no-contact drop off. Uniform drop off will occur directly outside of the new athletic complex, Door 30A. There will be tables set up outside of the aplex with large blue rubbermaid storage totes that are labeled with each specific sport. You must do the following for us to accept your uniform:
- Please wear a mask;
- Wash each article of your uniform;
- Place the washed uniform in a labeled bag with your athlete’s name on it;
- Drop the labeled uniform bag into the appropriately labeled storage tote.
We also ask that you be mindful of how you handle the uniforms. After washing the uniform, please try and handle it while wearing gloves and place it directly into the labeled bag. Once it is sealed, continue to wear gloves while dropping the uniform off. We understand that this is a challenging time, and we appreciate your flexibility and adherence to our requests. As always, uniforms that are not returned to the school will be sent as a student obligation to our guidance office. Student obligations must be settled prior to the end of school, and students that have not returned a uniform will be billed for a replacement.
