Ms. Cathleen Dougherty

Hello! My name is Cathleen Dougherty.  For the past twenty-plus years, I have worked as both an elementary and intermediate school counselor.  During this time, I have had the opportunity to work with students through classroom lessons, support groups, individual counseling, and teaching/supervising peer mediators/leaders.

Although a Philadelphia suburban native, my career actually started in beautiful southern California.  During my twelve years there, I spent two years at the elementary level and ten years working at the intermediate level. When I made the decision to return to my roots, I was thrilled to secure a counseling position in Springfield Township School District. For the past ten plus years, I have the privilege to serve children as a school counselor at both Enfield and Erdenheim schools.

My hobbies include traveling, photography, coaching, spending time with family and delivering random acts of kindness to those who can give nothing in return.

My greatest gift is my daughter Ryleigh. She inspires me daily to be the best mother, counselor, friend, family member, and leader.

I look forward to working with your children and helping them discover their sense of humor, celebrate their uniqueness and develop their leadership potential.

Mrs. Monica Kenyon

Hello!  Thank you for visiting.  This is my second year at Erdenheim and I have found a true sense of belonging.  The students remind me each day why I initially chose to become a counselor. It is my intention to help students find their voice and see each and every one of their strengths.  I am so proud to work alongside teachers that share that same intention.

I began my career as an elementary special education teacher and realized having a relationship first with students is the most important aspect of being an educator.  Therefore, I chose to change gears and begin a career in school counseling.

My husband and I live in the North Penn School District with my daughter, Addison.  Living in Denver for five years reminded me how much I love being outside whether it’s on a walk with our dog or grilling out.
