Greetings,

My name is Matt Taylor and the 2019 - 2020 school year is my fifth at Springfield and my thirteenth as a high school teacher. This year, I am teaching United States History I and Honors United States History II. I graduated from West Chester University ('07) where I majored in History and Professional Education and earned a Master of Arts degree in History from the University of Louisiana at Monroe ('15). During my career I have had the opportunity to teach a variety of history classes including Advanced Placement United States History. I am a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, an avid sports fan and also enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and camping as well as traveling and listening to music.
