Every year, my family goes on a summer vacation, usually to a national park or historical site. We've been to Nebraska, California, Virginia, Yellowstone, Glacier National Park in Montana, Massachusetts, Florida, and Utah. This is a picture of Old Faithful, a geyser in Yellowstone. Yellowstone was probably one of my favorite places. It was very interesting. I especially loved going on long hikes in Yellowstone. We went on one hike where we were basically walking on the top of a mountain! It was so much fun.
Last summer, my family went to Glacier National Park in Montana. It was one of the prettiest places I've ever been in my life. It was very pristine, and wasn't completely "tourism-ized," which was nice. We went on many hikes. We also got some wonderful pictures there, and saw so many beautiful views and interesting animals. This is a picture of a mountain goat. We saw several of these -- they are really cute!
Of course, I've always loved the beach. My aunt and uncle have a beach house at the Jersey Shore, so we usually go down there every summer. I love walking along the boardwalk with my cousins and going on rides in my uncle's motor boat and on their Waverunners.
This year, my family might go to San Francisco. (My mom has a conference for work there.) As you may already know, this is the curviest street in the world, Lombard Street, in San Francisco.
