What is the Student Services Team?

SITE is a team of faculty members and support personnel trained to identify and assist high-risk students who are having difficulty in school due to depression, alcohol and/or drug abuse, or other mental health problems.

Why have a Student Services Team?

The primary responsibility of our school is to educate, yet when a student is depressed or feeling hopeless, they are not able to learn as effectivley. Nor is a student able to learn when they are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Furthermore, when a student's behavior is disruptive to the school environment, other students are not able to teach. SITE's goal is to identify at-risk students at the earliest opportunity in order to maximize every student's educational experience.

Who refers students to Student Intervention Team Effort?
