This is a college level laboratory centered course that deals in depth with such topics as the Cell, Photosynthesis, Respriation, DNA, Taxonomy of Plants and Animals, Genetics and Evolution as well as others. Students are expected to take the Advanced Placement exam for possible college credit.

This course will focus on preparing students for the AP exam in biology in hopes of gaining college credit. Students will participate in class discussions and lectures, case studies, and laboratory work. Students will also outline and go over content from the text as homework and complete practice exams in order to prepare for the exam at the end of the year. Students will be given two credits for the completion of this course.
