915-AR.  VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES/CLUBS

(5133A)All volunteer activities or clubs must have the approval of the building principal.  Such approval may be gained by meeting the following conditions:

1.         School personnel or individuals in the community shall sponsor the activity or club.

2.         The activity or club must be composed entirely of current student body members.

3.         The activity or club should be educational and of school or community interest.

4.         The activity or club must have a plan for the selection of members, and that plan must provide for reasonable standards of safety for participants.

5.         Any funds raised by volunteer activities or clubs shall be placed in the school district's activities account in accordance with Policy 618.
