915. VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES/CLUBS |
1.Purpose

The Board recognizes the value of a diversified activities program in the school district. Such programs include volunteer type activities or clubs, which are expected to meet acceptable educational and safety standards. |
2.Definition |
Volunteer activities and clubs shall be defined as diverse educational experiences that are supervised by district employees or members of the community. The supervision of volunteer activities or clubs is performed without compensation. |

Volunteer activities and clubs must adhere to the rules outlined in the administrative rule accompanying this policy. |
