910. COMMUNITY RELATIONS |
1.Purpose

The Board believes that positive school and community relations are vital to continuing the high caliber of education for the students of this school district. Support for the public schools depends upon the knowledge, understanding, and participation of informed community residents. |
2.Authority |
The Board shall keep the residents of the district regularly informed of its activities by way of its own publications, cable, newsletters, the district web page and public relations personnel. |
3.Guidelines
Policy 903 |
All residents of the community are invited to make comments to and ask questions of the Board at all times, particularly at the regular monthly Board meetings in accordance with established procedures. |

All residents of the community are urged to participate in school-related functions, special committees, and school-related organizations. |
