Sec. 5.203

The Board directs the Superintendent to develop
and implement a strategic plan for the continuing qualitative
assessment of the progress of the educa tional program toward
the goals established by the Board. To this end, the Superintendent
shall recommend such tests and methods as may be indicated by
generally accepted professional practice and best professional
judgment.
The Board reserves the right to review each such test and to
approve those which serve a legitimate purpose without infringing
upon the personal rights of the students or their parents.

2.Delegation
of Responsibility

The results of any evaluation may be released
by the Superintendent using district-wide data, or by principals
employing school data, but such data may not be traceable to individuals.
The Superintendent shall annually recommend improvements in
the program based upon the evaluation of the district's program.
Parents may obtain an explanation of the results of their child's
test from qualified school personnel.
