The Board desires to expand the walls of the classroom
to enable students and teachers to develop perspectives of the
cultural similarities as well as differences of other people in
other areas.
The schools will explore opportunities independently, or in
cooperation with, recognized, reputable agencies to offer information
to students and teachers about opportunities to study comparative
cultures in other areas and to participate with agencies which
will bring students and teachers from other areas to Springfield
Schools on a mutually agreeable exchange basis, as approved by
the Board.
