117. Homebound Instruction

Homebound instruction shall be provided for students in cases where regular attendance is not possible because of severe psychological, physical, or health problems or other unusual circumstances.

The program of individual instruction given each student shall be in accordance with the standard established by the Secretary of Education.

Homebound instruction may commence as soon as it has been determined by the building principal that a child will not be able to attend school for at least four (4) weeks and when the child is able to benefit from such instruction.
