114. Programs For Gifted Pupils

| 1.Authority |
In accordance with the Board's philosophy to develop
the special abilities of each student, the Board requires that
appropriate instructional programs be conducted to meet the needs
of gifted pupils of school age.

Sec. 14.2 |
Ability of candidates for this program shall be
evidenced by achievement in school work; scores on tests measuring
intellectual ability and aptitude; and the judgment of teachers,
psychologists, administrators, and supervisors familiar with the
demonstrated ability of the pupil.

2.Delegation
of Responsibility
|
Procedures shall be established by the Superintendent
or designee for identifying children of demonstrated achievement
or potential ability.
