proposal

In order for an application to be considered, a proposal of the project must be submitted to the PATHWAYS Coordinator. This proposal should be neatly printed or typed on the LEEP proposal form.

  1. Reason for undertaking the project
    In one to two paragraphs, state the reasons for undertaking the project and indicate why the project is an important one. Ideally, this section should include an explanation of how the experience will relate to your career goals and/or aspirations.
  2. Activities
    List the specific activities in which you will be engaged during your project. If your project includes research, describe the value and potential application of the research.
  3. Educational outcomes
    Indicate how you expect to benefit from the successful completion of your project. For example, describe how you expect this project to better prepare you for post-high school education and/or training.

If you need help with the preparation of your proposal, you are urged to ask a faculty member for assistance. Attach your proposal to the LEEP application and agreement.

IMPORTANT: THE APPLICATION AND PROPOSAL MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE PATHWAYS COORDINATOR ON OR BEFORE May 4, 2009. THE AGREEMENT IS DUE NO LATER THAN MONDAY, MAY 18, 2009.
