Each month, each teacher has the opportunity to choose one student to be a Pledge Leader.  Teachers may choose a student in his/her classroom or a student that has exhibited leadership in another area of the school (i.e. bus line, recess).

Criteria for this honor may include, but should not be limited to...

Upholding the Erdenheim Pledge
Our 3 Rs (Respect for others, Respect for yourself, and Responsibility)

Along with leadership discussions that have been part of class meetings and practiced in the classroom.

Teachers will be asked to submit their monthly leader by filling out a ―Leadership Brick form; forms will be turned in to the main office. Submissions are anonymous.

Upon being chosen as a Pledge Leader, the student will not only have his/her Brick (with teacher write-up and picture) added to the Erdenheim Wall of Leaders, they will meet with the Principal, Assistant Principal and School Counselor for special recognition and receive a Pledge Leader pencil and a copy of their Pledge Leader Brick to take home to share with their families.
