Gretchen Slapinsky is a Temple University graduate with a Fine Art major.  She spent over nine years as an advertising agency Art Director and is now a freelance graphic designer.  She also teaches Music Experience classes to pre-school children. Gretchen led negotiations with the developers of the Harston Hall property next door to Erdenheim Elementary and the Township Board of Commissioners.  In addition to volunteering regularly at the schools, she ran the Erdenheim Publishing Center for the past four years, has served on the School District Wellness Committee and currently serves on the District Strategic Planning Committee. She is also a founding member of Sustainable Springfield.

Her vision: To support high quality education of the whole child in order to lay the necessary foundation for a successful future for them and the future of our country.
