Two town meetings were held to provide parents and members of the community the opportunity to ask questions and provide input concerning the Grade Restructuring Proposal presented to the School Board on September 15, 2009. This document provides answers to many of the questions asked at these meetings.

- School District of Springfield Township Annual Senior Citizens' Appreciation Dinner Information:
This year, the high school Thespian program is presenting its big musical, "The Wizard of Oz," on March 11-14, 2010. Therefore, we are moving our Annual Senior Citizens' Appreciation Dinner to Sunday, March 14, 2010, 12:00 Noon. Following the dinner, our senior residents will be invited to see the show, compliments of the district. Senior residents will be receiving reservation notification in The Enterprise in advance of the dinner. Our students and staff appreciate your continued support!
- Parents - Don't Miss This! The Springfield Middle School/High School PTA invite Springfield Township parents/guardians to a special presentation, "Operation Safe Surf, Cybersafety: Protecting Your Kids and Teens Online." The program will be conducted on Monday, November 9, 7:15 p.m., at Springfield Township High School Auditorium, 1801 E. Paper Mill Road, Erdenheim. Featured speaker will be Sr. Supervisory Special Agent Mary McCoy, Education and Outreach Unit, Bureau of Investigative Services, PA. Attorney General's Office.
- School District of Springfield Township Parents Invited to Join Wellness Task Force. The School District of Springfield Township has instituted a Wellness Task Force that includes teachers, administrators, board members, and community volunteers. At the opening meeting, participants identified important issues and formed fourt committees. The district is looking for volunteers to work on the following committees: Education, Culture and Communications; Physical Space, Equipment and Ambiance; Food Quality and Sustainability; Exercise and Physical Activity. The purpose of each committee is to create district goals and an action plan to assist our students in achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The first organizational meeting for all four committees will be on October 27, 7:00 p.m. in the high school library.
