As per new regulations from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, ALL applicants to school districts must submit a copy of their Federal Criminal History Record in addition to the Child Abuse Clearance and Pennsylvania Criminal Record Check. All records can not be more than one year old. PDE is currently updating the procedure for prospective employees to obtain their Federal Criminal History Record and will move to electronic submission of fingerprints to the FBI. More information on acquiring your Federal Criminal History Record will be forthcoming from the Commonwealth.
