Assistant High School Principal/High School Athletic Director

The School District of Springfield Township is seeking candidates whose primary responsibility will be to assist the High School Principal in the organization, administration and supervision of the school. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to student accounting, attendance, and discipline.  As the High School Athletic Director responsibilities include hiring and evaluating coaches, scheduling, and budget preparation. Successful candidate must have excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills and the ability to multitask. Must be able to work with changing deadlines. Principal Certification as well as experience in athletics required. Previous experience a must. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

10 Month Position

  • Candidate must be experienced in working with autistic children.
  • Additional certification in special education is highly desirable.
  • Candidate must have excellent skills in data analysis, training and coaching.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required to participate as an effective team member and
    interact with consultants and parents on a regular basis.
